If only, if only. If I had the ability to read French fluently a good
part of my arguments with Deleuze would have dissolved. Like Badiou I
reject Deleuze's virtual and argue for actual univocity which required a
rather tortured inverting of Deleuze's univocity. But then, I may still
have some arguments left over for Badiou???? who knows. Have just been
reading about transitional planes in fluid dynamics and dimensionless
numbers. I could suggest that poems are like mathematical sets that in
both cases what make them hold together as either a set or a poem is
some sort of power or force.
