COMMA PRESS LAUNCH READINGS, 14th - 21st OCTOBER 2006
This coming fortnight sees the launch of Comma Press's new anthology of
European short fiction in translation, 'Decapolis: tales from ten
cities'. The anthology brings together acclaimed European practitioners
of the short story form, several of whom are visiting the UK to
participate in the upcoming launch events. Writers will read their work
in the original language, with English translations back-projected. One
of the visiting writers will be Larissa Boehning, whose debut short story
collection 'Schwalbensommer' was published by Eichborn in 2003.
