Patrick, Randolph:
The word was coined by Canadian poet Erin Moure. She first uses it, I
believe, in her Griffin Prized book, _Sheep's Vigil, by a Fervent
Person_.
I discuss the term and concept a bit here, the introduction to a very
large gathering of international poetry I guest-edited last year for
Tony Tost's fabulous magazine, Fascicle.

Lucas Klein's Yale-based _Cipher Journal_ is also worth taking a look
in: Numerous of the articles and poems therein push and poke the
boundaries of standard modes of translation, often breaking through into
something else. There are pieces in the contents there by some members
of this list.
Also, in the UK, Piers Hughill's _Reception_ is devoted to experimental
translation.
It's an expanding area, it seems. Put that term in your file!
