FYI Hal - there have been numerous reports - particularly in the New
England Journal for the Protection of Proper Sonnets - of Sonnets being
Shanghaied by known poets of formal disrepute, particularly ones living in
the Port of New York, who have a history of shattering anything that comes
their way, and, to add insult to injury, pick up the broken pieces and
flaunt the destruction by sticking them up on oddly formed scaffolds that
they shamelessly still call "Sonnets."
Sometimes amazingly imaginative - I think - the human race.
I like your sonnet.
