Yes, I removed the HOSTLIST line.

If you are using HOSTLIST it picks up nodes only from that list. If you
have 1 node it will pick up always that node. So what I would try is
either to extend the list or to remove it and allow maui to chose among
all the nodes. All this is in theory because I never tried to use
SPACEFLEX. I actually combined the reservation with a really high
priority and fstarget VALUES and limited the number of jobs ops can run
to 2.
