What it means to win:
"Winning the 2006 Libraries Change Lives Award has been a true privilege for the staff team, our partners, the local community and for all of the young people who have been involved in the Sighthill Library Youth Project. It has been wonderful for everyone's hard work to be recognised and rewarded and has given us all renewed determination to continue to succeed. It's helped to raise our profile, established important links with other organisations and libraries who are working to meet similar challenges and opened up a world of funding opportunities."
Evelyn Kilmurry, Senior Library Officer, Sighthill Library
