Society for Nonlinear Dynamics and Econometrics
15th Annual Symposium
CREST-ENSAE, Paris
March 15-16, 2007

CALL FOR PAPERS

The 15th Annual Symposium of the Society for Nonlinear Dynamics and
Econometrics will be held at CREST-ENSAE in Paris on March 15-16, 2007. The
aim of the meeting is to present and discuss recent developments in
theoretical and empirical analysis of nonlinearity in economics and
finance.

Professor Jean-Michel Grandmont of CREST-GRECSTA will be the plenary
speaker. The meeting will also consist of invited and contributed papers.

You are invited to submit a paper. Completed manuscripts or extended
abstracts can be submitted electronically via the Conference Maker software
by following the "15th Annual Symposium of the Society for Nonlinear
Dynamics and Econometrics" link at

http://zeus.econ.umd.edu/conference/

To submit a paper, note that you must select a program committee member to
whom your paper will be assigned. Papers should be submitted in PDF format.
The first page should contain the title of the paper, the name of the
authors, their affiliations and contact details. An abstract of maximum 400
words should also be provided. When entering co-author details, please make
sure to supply the institutional affiliation of all co-authors.
Submissions must be received on or before December 1, 2006. Authors will be
notified whether their papers have been accepted for the Symposium by
January 15, 2007.

Papers presented at the conference may be considered for publication in the
society's journal, Studies in Nonlinear Dynamics and Econometrics,
published by the Berkeley Electronic Press and which can be accessed at
http://www.bepress.com/snde/

The Society will award the James B. Ramsey prize of USD 500 for the best
paper presented by a graduate student. Graduate students' electronic
submissions should be followed up by a letter from a professor certifying
that the submitter is a graduate student in good standing in the
professor's department. This letter should be sent to the SNDE secretary:

Philip Rothman
Department of Economics
Brewster Building
East Carolina University
Greenville, NC 27858
USA

All registrants, including presenters (invited and contributed) must pay
the registration fee, which helps defray the cost of the meeting. The
registration fee is USD 165 (USD 190 before February 15, 2007). Please note
that the Society strongly prefers that payment be made both in advance and
by credit card. Also, all registration fees are non-refundable.

Complete details regarding registration and local accommodation will be
