As part of this thread, Tim mentioned the Triple A interactive whiteboard
packs. Apologies for this being a commercial post, but, given the discussion
going on, I wondered if people might be interested in trying the packs out.
We do offer a FREE demo version that stays active for around two weeks from
the time it is ordered. If you would like one of these to try, then please
simply fill in the form on:
http://www.triplealearning.co.uk/iwb/info.html
Or contact me OFF-LIST (on [log in to unmask]) with the
school/college name and address and I will send one.
The packs have a range of features including draggable diagrams, self-test
questions, games and activities, a business simulation (in the business one)
and micro, macro and combined economic simulations in the economics version.
The packs can be purchased using e-learning credits.
Once again - apologies for the commercial nature of the post.
Best wishes,
Andy Beharrell

I have some sympathy with Peter's views but I do like the fact that I can
annotate what I project and control nearly everything from the board rather
than using the computer or even a remote mouse. We are trying Triple A's IWB
pack for Economics. They also have one for B Studies. I have developed a
simple drag and drop exercise to help students learn P&L accounts and
Balance sheets which seems to work quite well and the students like (well,
they don't like the fact that they can never remember where anything should
go but they are learning!) I will send this to anyone who contacts me off
list. (It is a small file so I shall post it if Richard gives me
permission.)
