Very good idea Rob.
Would have many benefits including ensuring that grant application forms
are completed successfully and encouraging a level of consistency in LA
investigations. I will share this idea amongst the SCLC advisory
committee. Perhaps the SCLC website could have a repository for all to
view.
I think the idea could be extended to have examples of determination
notifications, notifications to interested parties, etc to prevent the
wheel being reinvented.

Subject: Information- sharing.
Since the DEFRA money became a grant I should think quite a few of us
have filled in application forms.
I think the form is very clever and extracts alot of information
relatively easily.
I wondered if anyone out there thinks there is any merrit in taking this
formatt and using it to develop a way of sharing this type of
information in a standard format..
If you think its worthwhile then have we any ideas where and how would
be best to host it.
My thoughts so far are under the following header.
1. Conceptual model & contaminants of concern
2. Site zoning and investigation phasing & costs
3. Inspection techniques max depth number of inspection points total
meteridge for each technique
4. Sampling strategy- numbers of samples for each contaminant of
concern- average per sasple point and total.
anay way if any of you think the idea is usefull let us know.
