The way to exchange data between projects is to use the DataShifter or to
duplicate the project and delete what you don't want.
I am hesitant to always categorise spectra as it slows things down in the
common cases when you don't have too many. I suppose could have a global
or context switch though. However, the upcoming functionality to handle
non-frequency data dimensions (e.g. pseudo-3D experiments) for experiment
series will eliminate most of the overcrowding.
