Unless you are claiming to be a linguist, your usage of the OED is that of an amateur.

Nope. You may go off on slightly archaeologically related tangents, but your idea of Brahmins in Britain, Greek mentions of Celtic dragons, etc. aren't archaeology. As you were told elsewhere, "if there are points for persistence, you certainly have amassed a goodly number here"
