The Annual meeting of the UK Alexander von Humboldt Association will
take place in Cambridge on October 25. Details of the programme are

A further announcement will be made soon with details of registration
costs. There will also be details of how to get assistance with finding
overnight accommodation should it be required.
The meeting has been timed to coincide with German Week. German week
will take place from 20 October 2006 until 28 October 2006. Concerts and
seminars on Schiller and Wittgenstein will be taking place from the 20th
until the 22nd (Fri-Sun). The 23rd and 24th (Mon-Tues) there will be
talks about political issues and University reform in Germany. There is
an AvH Kolleg on the subject of Feroics from the 26th to the morning of
