Dear all,
In case any discussion list members living in the southwest of England
don't know about our local network, here is an invitation to come along
- we meet at St Sidwell's centre which is in Sidwell Street, at the
northern end of Exeter city centre. There are usually about ten or so -
psychologists are outnumbered by community members from other
backgrounds at present. We have had various topics of debate and
discussion over several years now; currently we are pre-occupied with
climate change and sustainability. If you plan to come, please let Rachel
Montague know on [log in to unmask]
South West Community Psychology Network
Open to all - members of the public, psychologists, voluntary and public
sector workers, etc. We are an informal group who share ideas about how
applied psychology can contribute to local efforts to promote shared
well-being and sustainable ways of life.
Current theme: Sustainability & Climate Change - what tools can we
share
to help people break down barriers to change? What positive aspects of
psychology could help us re-discover our connections with the
environment and our passion to survive.
Next meetings: Friday 29th September & Friday 1st December, 10am - 12
noon, at the St Sidwell's Centre. No charge.
