That is a gorgeous thing, Andrew. They're never going to get it in China, though:-). Especially if they find out he came from Plainfield, New Jersey.
I knew a guy 40 years ago who became one of Evans' drummers. Eliot played with him on "I Will Say Goodbye" and later played for Michel Petrucciani.
I may own every Evans CD ever made. My amateur opinion is that he was on the same level of Tatum even if their styles couldn't have been more different.
