BASIC PC TROUBLESHOOTING
11 October 2006, London
This practical workshop will help library and information staff deal with issues which arise while people are using computers provided for public use. The intention is to offer strategies and techniques to solve simple problems with both hardware and software. Advice will also be offered to help people deal with questions from members of the public relating to their own home computers.
BENEFITS OF ATTENDING
The day will consist of lectures and a number of problem-solving practical exercises. Participants are invited to bring to the workshop problems raised by users which they have solved or which await resolution.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
