Rowley didn't mention physically bringing the patient from the waiting
area to tthe consulting area. This was one of those non-medical tasks
with which I had increasing difficulty over the last few months I
worked.
I suspect the NHS might have had my services for rather longer if I had
not been tied down to doing various non-medical tasks in a department
with pitifully few staff for its throughput.
