Hi
As a co-author of the LGCS we at Leicestershire are using it for our
EDRMS and Intranet. The organisational management element has also been
tackled in LGCS v2.0 which is expected to be released around 11/8/06.
Regards
Paul

Subject: LGCS & individual organisational arrangements
Hello,
Here at North Yorkshire County Council we are doing some work around
developing a Business Classification Scheme. We are taking the LGCS as
the starting point and working it up into something that reflects North
Yorkshire CC.
As a straw poll could any local authorities who are also using LGCS put
a quick email 'hands up' (so that I can prove to colleagues that it is
being actively used elsewhere)?
Also, if anyone has any snippets of information about how they have gone
about adapting the LGCS to reflect their organisational circumstances I
would be interested to hear from them as well.
With many thanks for your time,
Vicky Stretch
