This seems to me a very good question. How many
people did visit Stonehenge when it was in use as a
ritual center (at any stage)? Is there anyway to
tell? It seems to me that assuming the number would
be small would be like assuming not many people
visited Cantebury or even Rome during the Medieval
period because only the rich could afford to travel.
