From a raunchy website - Le boudoir de mademoiselle
http://radioerotic.typepad.com/monamour/2006/02/gamahucher_1.html
comes (ooh-la-la) the following:
Gamahucher
(P. Verlaine)
I have left out a bit of innocent bawdry about "her strident pleasure"
etc. The rest you may translate yourselves. As this is a poetry list,
the Verlaine quote does not come amiss (OK,OK...). I dare say quoting
Alistair Elliot's translation of this counts as fair use:
A crumb or two of shit and cheese
Won't scare away my kind of pluck,
My nose, my mouth, from any crease
Or rut in the fair field of fuck (Verlaine: Hombres tr. Alistair Elliot)
- but of course he's used poetic licence, since it's licking Verlaine is
praising; one could emend Elliot & suggest (ll.2-4)
Won't scare me from my special schtick,
My nose, my mouth, from any crease
Or rut in the fair field of lick.
Enough already
