how swell! I've been writing/reading/studying haiku for almost 2
years, I've even learned a lot about that state of mind/vision & using
it in non-haiku poetry too.
in fact, I've been trying to write an essay on haiku for almost a
year.. it's current draft isn't bad, but needs work; most recently I
wrote up a brainhum I had concerning the haiku spirit & memory, which
I'll be using as the eventual essay's introduction.
I'll be sure to look into this & probably participate. :) I just hope
there are less refridgerator/dumpster/toaster motif'd haiku & more
that appreciate the traditional (TIMELESS :) ) spirit. (I'm not a
purist I swear..!)
thanks for the headsup.
