Thanks Henrik for the heads up on of AT-SPI out. To my mind it looks
like addressing many of our requirements but need to explore the code as
there seems little docs. From this rather old documentation
http://developer.gnome.org/projects/gap/guide/gad/
it appears that there is a bridge from the Java Accessibility API so
that leaves Windows and at this point it seems to have some similarity
to the Windows Accessibility API (the old one at least). Is anyone
working on a Wine bridge and AT side, that could allow Windows AT to
work on Linux?
Looking at fig 1 I guess the switch component discussed lives at the 'AT
building blocks' layer with supporting code at the AT layer
(scanning/OK) and possibly platform layer.
