medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Duh. I supposed I might have worked that out, but the early Baptist
training really works against martyrologies. The name of the church
where all my family was/were baptized & married was out of Hosea 2.1 --
Ruhama = "my people." By age 8 or 9 we Baptist kids had to be able to
recite all the books of the Bible, & my father was a preacher & I did.
By the time we got to the prophets it was
Ezekyuldanyul
HoseajoelAmos

Nahumhabakak

ZE-pha-NI-ah-HA-ga-I
Za-cha-RI-ah-MA-la-CHI

etc.
