I (as I am sure many others are) am interested in better understanding
the views expressed in the contribution noted below.
Is is it possible to get a palin language version?
Is the contributor implying that it is a waste of time and resources
investigating, debating and discussing disabilty issues in university /
academic settings?
Are there other (more appropriate??) settings that the contributor has
in mind, and if so why should disability issues not also be discussed in
academic settings as well as these other community settings?
Is the contributor implying that a university qualification impedes
understanding of disability issues or indeed excludes a person from
participating in informed debate concerning disability issues?
Is it appropriate to sterio-type ("the lot of you"), label, marginalise
or indeed attack the integridy of people on the basis of a personal
characteristic - their educational endeavours?
Where does a well considered and evicence-based contribution to the
debate end and a potentially offensive attack on list members begin?
Is this contribution really about how some people with disability
experience exclusion from university / academic life, and a call for us
to redress that issue? Does the contributor have some ideas about how
we can redress difficulties expereinced by people with disability in (or
accessing) university / academic settings.

You are at it again, so little do you care about disability rights, so
much
about academic integrity that you think the only kind of intellectual
endeavor comes at post doctorate level.
What can I seriosly say of the lot of you. You are elitist, upharasinist
(look that one up) and probably for all your faux doctorates remarkably
ill
educated in the wider synergistics of transacademic transgression and
morpheistic (not to mention morphy richards steam irons, and trevithick
of
the going up camborne hill escalator synecdoche notwithstanding) of
metathanatothallasemiotics (those are perls that were his eyes) you bin
all
a bunch of mogrimorphic ogres.
