This is what I call an 'empowered' disabled women, but 'we' crips are not
allowed to 'talk-about', or 'do' 'sex', or have any 'sexuality' do 'we', not
even between ourselves within some of our .
See link- http://film.guardian.co.uk/news/story/0,,1805526,00.html
Today, I was informed by a female Trustee within an disabled people's
user-controlled-led organisations that I should not talk about 'sex',
'relationships' or 'sexuality' when I am volunteering at this orgainisation,
because this is 'inappropriate behaviour' for a male 'crip' to talkj on
these subjects to others within the organisation. They also state that us
males and females are different when it comes to talking about 'sex' and
women don't talk about 'sex' like us men do and this is a 'gender' issue.
Does this person not watch 'Sex-in-The City, Friends, Shameless' etc...
I really thought that these ideas was now about 'females and sex' weres
outdated and victorian???
I may be wrong??? BUT.....
'No Sex allowed I'm a disabled Brit'!!! ;-)
