Here it is 8:23 AM and the anxiety can be hold in the air - Brazil will play
later, at 13:00 PM.
I am going out with my camera to take more photos and movies, perhaps I will
get "to photograph anxiety".

this was fascinating! It is not as fervent here in England! I will show
your documentary to the kids I teach tomorrow - especially those with whom I
am doing a project on Sven's book, 'On fottball' (goals, teamwork,

Tomorrow will be the second time that Brazil's team will play in the
world cup. So that, after lunch Rio de Janeiro city will stop. People will
stay at
home to watch the game or will go to a bar or restaurant which has installed
a big screen. Under my building there is a gallery of stores and theathers
and bars and restaurants. Some of the bars made an animated party during the
first game of our team. They placed a big screen and people watched the game
there while drinking beer (chopp). Also there was a small band playing all
time and almost everybody was using the t-shirt of Brazilian team. In fact I
believe that the majority of Brazilians were using this kind of t-shirts
during Brazil's games. After the victory, if it happens, much fun and
carnival. You must be sure that these things happen in the whole country.
Soccer is a passion in Rio and in Brazil.
In fact, I do not like soccer very much, but I like very much to observe the
emotion and the creativity that a world cup provokes here in Brazil. The
colours of the Brazilian flag appear in the decoration of streets and
stores. It is interesting to say that the decoration of streets is done by
the people that live there. It is not paid by the prefecture. I think that
it is nice. So that I did this documentary, I hope you appreciate and feel
the emotion that the world cup provokes in Brazil. If Brazilian team
continues winning, I will add more pages to the documentary, because I will
get more photos and movies
