Subject: Request to update site wiki log pages during upgrades
Dear All
There is a request to summarise gLite 3.0.0 deployment experience for a
meeting next week. I can do this by trawling the site wiki logs for
information providing these are updated as you undertake the deployment.
Please could any site deploying the new release (and this applies to all
upgrades) put any problems/issues/bug references into the site pages? A
quick way to get to the page if you do not have it book marked is via
this table:
http://www.gridpp.ac.uk/wiki/Service_Challenge_4_Site_Status. Click on
your site name in the left most column. On your page it would be useful
to create a specific section for the release (i.e. it does not belong
under the SC4 heading).
Many thanks,
Jeremy

Subject: analysis of gLite 3.0 roll-out and deployment
Dear all,
We would like to put in the agenda for next ROC managers meeting, to be
held next Tuesday, an analysis of gLite 3.0 roll-out and deployment.
In order to do this, we would like to request to each ROC to make a
summary of the gLite 3.0 deployment experience you have till now,
covering:
- major/most common deployment problems found (with the associated GGUS
ticket number)
- roll out process and support
- documentation
- proposals for improvement
- any other point you consider relevant
Could you please, collect all this information, make a summary and send
it to the list before next Tuesday?
Thanks in advance,
Maite
