Thanks Paul
On a completely different subject, how are things going with vital signs?.
I am organising a session at ACB Focus in Manchester next year. Would you or
someone else in the team be prepared to talk about the project, say 20
minutes?.
It would be great if there was a biochemistry result review on the system by
that time to discuss.
Thanks in anticipation of a positive response
John

Sounds sensible
I would support that recommendation.

Subject: Moving the SIG
Sadly, the Laboratory Information SIG is receiving very little attention.
The number of hits is very low. This is partly due to lack of new content,
but more importantly the SIG group software management kit is very
cumbersome to use and lacks some very basic functionality. I would like to
propose moving the SIG content onto Craig Wesbster's Laboratory Medicine IT
and Education Web Site <http://www.labmedit.net/>
Craig has done an excellent job in integrating content management technology
(Joomla) with a laboratory mediciane IT blog as well as Wiki a web
application that allows users to add content, as on an Internet forum, but
also allows anyone to edit the content. Wiki also refers to the
collaborative software used to create such a website (see Wiki software).
Craigs system would support a more content driven and interactive SIG, I
vote to go down this route. Feedback to this list please.
Thanks
John
