I admit that I have issues with some of Kaplan's conclusions and 
interpretations, which are sometimes influenced through his own 
religious lens and occasionally are not at all supported by the text. 
However, I cannot really comment on the translation itself as I haven't 
had to read Hebrew since I was 13. However in this case I was referring 
specifically to a chart on pg. 46, which looks at sefirot to direction 
attributions from the Ari, the Raavad, Isaac the Blind and the Ramak, 
with relevant citations. It is perhaps interesting to note that all four 
are different and none of them match the GD's version, which is mapped 
into a room.
