Hi Chris
I have tried to tackle this area a few times now and will do so again at
a ROC manager's meeting next week.
We ended up creating the example site-info.def entries on the page you
mention because EGEE is struggling to get VO managers engaged with
providing this information in the VO cards which should be the primary
reference point.
At present those maintaining the YAIM configurator have been contacting
VO managers directly for information but again the information is not
always forthcoming which is why the configurator supplied information is
often incomplete too. I have suggested pooling the known information,
but there has been some reluctance as the format of the information for
the configurator and .def files differs. I do not see this as something
that can not be overcome and intend to keep pushing the matter. Getting
the VO managers to supply more information is only part of the problem
though!
In the meantime I would encourage everyone on this list to keep the
GridPP wiki area up-to-date. Thanks for bringing attention to this area.
Cheers,
Jeremy
