Alison,
we are trying to provide resources of 'synthesised' evidence to our
partnership health care organizations in Central /Eastern Europe and Former
Soviet Union countries for the last 7-8 years
Our list for now includes the following: we provide
Cochrane
ACP's PIER (as a part of Stat-Ref! CD-ROM)
and we also recommend them the free online resources (free for developing
countries):
Clinical evidence
DynaMed http://www.dynamicmedical.com - a clinical reference with more than
1800 topics
(For each topic, using a standardized template and outline format,
clinically relevant evidence is summarized.
DynaMed summaries are updated daily)
Prodigy (http://www.prodigy.nhs.uk/)

Subject: Databases of synthesised evidence
Dear All,
I am writing to seek your opinions. My question is: if you were to provide
clinicians with electronic access in the clinical setting to about 6
searchable databases of 'synthesised' evidence, which databases, in
addition to Cochrane, would you recommend?
Your views will be very much appreciated.
Regards,
Alison
