I just found this poem in a book.
No idea when it was written or what its context was,
but I liked it anyway.
Janet
A scholar named Wang
Laughed at my poems.
The accents are wrong,
He said,
Too many beats;
The meter is poor,
The wording impulsive.
I laugh at his poems,
As he laughs at mine.
They read like
The words of a blind man
Describing the sun.

"As long as space remains,
as long as sentient beings remain,
until then, may I too remain
and dispel the miseries of the world."
