Wilfred wrote favourably of Popper's "The Open Society and its Enemies".

It is also a large book, almost 800 pages in two volumes with two hundred 
pages of notes in small print.

The good news is that there is condensed version that appeared in 
installments on a blog run by a young man in Canada.
