Hi remote mailing-list colleagues
Having been involved with The Times 100 from its inception, and well
before for the more venerable of you who remember the publication of the
On Target case studies, including my favourite, the now defunct Blue
Smartie, circa 1990, I would like to elicit some feedback for the
recently published 11th Edition.
Over the last couple of years a considerable amount of focus has been
placed upon improving the curriculum relevance of The Times 100 as well
as its classroom usability. What I would like to do is to ask, beg and
grovel - as that is the kind of person I am (!) - you to answer a few
questions and then e-mail the answers off-list to me at

If possible, could you use examples to exemplify your responses to the
questions below:
To what extent has The Times 100 improved its classroom focus in recent
years and how?
How is The Times 100 used by students in your school or college?
What further developments might/could help The Times 100 to become a) a
better pedagogical classroom tool and, b) more classroom focused.
Thanks for you help with you. I think you are all wonderful.
