Hi
I'm sending this on behalf of a friend Please see if you can help....
Thanks Maria
Hi there,
I've put this website together. It's very basic, not really any frills to speak of. My intention was just to get it up quickly. The site is called Accessible Washrooms of the World and it basically a list of wheelchair accessible washrooms throughout the world. I recently came back from Italy, and this trip inspired the idea. While I was there, I wasn't yet thinking of this project, I was mostly taking notes for my own use. I took notes of every washroom I used. Then I got the idea and compiled my notes and put them on a website. Because I was only thinking of myself initially, I wasn't always that detailed about every washroom unfortunately. I am hoping that this site takes off and becomes a great resource for wheelchair travelers throughout the world. Please check it out, and if you can help me out with info on accessible washrooms in your area, email me with the details and I shall add it to the list. You'll notice right now that pretty much only Canada and Italy have information in it, but hopefully the list will grow and all the links will have information in them soon. So check it out, and I hope to hear from you soon!
