Hi, Germaine,
I cannot answer your learned question, but I wanted to take this
opportunity to say that I hope to see you when the Spenser Conference
takes place in Toronto, May 19-21. My only function is to chair the
session that has Ty Buckman in it, I forget what it's called. I'm not
performing. Ihave a reservation at Holiday Inn on Bloor St. I and Cornell
grad student Leigh Harrison will be coming on Amtrak about 7 or 8 pm the
day before (May 18), so maybe I could take you and John to a late supper
that night. Sorry to be so vague, but I will be more specific once I learn
when and if you are free.
