I really like this - especially 'absorbed in the tissue of eyelids'

Subject: Snap, Directions to Nowhere
Directions To Nowhere
Incomprehensible thoughts,
a line seeks meaning
in movements with directions
to nowhere . . .
Morning mist (that disappears
below the surface of a poem)
is the beginning . . .
Oblique lines in pastel color -
tangents that eventually
come together; move away
and become homeless
You, emerge in a poem
etched in the scars outside
my front door- absorbed
in the tissue of eyelids,
only real, when you do not exist
