medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Today's life from the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography is Henry
Chichele (c1362-1443), Bishop of St David's, Archbishop of Canterbury,
servant of Henry V, delegate to Council of Pisa, prosecutor of Lollards,
founder of educational establishments. Follow the link below and you will
be able to browse through the week's lives.
This is the first medieval life (apart from a fourteenth century herald who
had no religious connections) to have appeared since I last posted some
weeks ago.
Regards to all
Rosemary Hayes
