ASQ CASE STUDY:

During the ASQ FOLIO course, you will complete a series of exercises that
are based on fictional case scenarios. The purpose of these case scenarios
is to enable you to participate in troubleshooting and problem solving
tasks relating to realistic issues regarding the use of user questionnaires
in health library and information services.

(1) WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:

For an introduction to the case study that the case scenarios will be based
upon, visit: http://www.nelh.nhs.uk/folio/asq/case_study.htm

SELF-REFLECTIVE EXERCISE:

The purpose of today’s self-reflective exercise is to enable you to reflect
upon your experiences with questionnaires or surveys.

(2) WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:

1. Think of either a positive or negative experience that you have
encountered with a survey or questionnaire. It could be that you have
completed a questionnaire and you feel that your comments have contributed
to a particular improvement in a service or product. Alternatively, it
could be that you have been dissatisfied with a service or a product and
you feel as though the feedback that you have provided in a survey has been
ignored.

2. Add your description of a positive or negative experience of a
questionnaire or survey to your portfolios.

3. In addition, in your portfolios, state what you hope to achieve by
taking part in the ASQ FOLIO course.
