How do responsive systems affect us? Interactive art, scientific
research and leading ideas in architecture and design come together in
this 9th annual international forum.
Here is the opportunity to hear scientific talks in the context of
those who draw metaphors from and interpret science. For Responsive
Architectures 2006, we are proud to cover topics from dynamic cell
structure, migration and cancer, brain development, nanotechnology,
material science, fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer.
Drs.
Steven Vogel (Duke University) ---Key Note Lecture
Michelle Addington (Harvard University)
Donald Ingber (Harvard University)
Cassandra Fraser (University of Virginia)
Melody Swartz (EPFL, Switzerland)
John Storrs-Hall (autogeny.org)
Sema Sgaier (NYU, currently at University of Toronto)
We invite artists, architects, designers, engineers, scientists, and
the general public to join us in this dialogue. Research presentations
and artist talks will be complemented by exhibitions and workshops.
