Thank you, all!
something else>
I have conducted research studies and have worked for
some charity charity organisations and things like
that. the reason I use Moodle is because the Greek
School Network uses it; if they were using Bodington I
would have used it.
one thing was interesting in this specific study, at
least this is how I got it, please it is not
generalised>
we have a tool, or a project, we find the
beneficiaries to use it -we never ask them what they
want. the beneficiaries, follow, because there is
nothing else they can do. then, we continue with the
development, we dont really ask beneficiaries'
opinions but we follow the trends. we do what
everybody else does and that is how it spreads. and
then it is not working. and then another thing is
coming and we all follow...
according to Reding, we have chnage and development
when our actions are based on what the
customers/learners need. and this not mere acquiring
information; learning is transforming our lives via
presonal development. this was what always gives
quality in learning, not following the trends every 5
years.
VLES need to support the learners developing
themselves, however, I still dont know how... perhaps
there is a need for generation X VLES designed from
scratch... this problem is going to be discussed in
the ALT 2006 conference, yes?
