Even if one ignores the fact that some proportion of the 800-odd members of this list do not have techies looking after their PCs, computer technicians are not always successful in preventing emailed viruses from causing havoc. There are several hundred new viruses doing the rounds every month -- some will get through before they're identified. According to a Computer World Article it is estimated that PC Viruses cost businesses approximately $55 Billion in damages in 2003.
Personally my main concern, though, is the size rather than the possible unwelcomed content of the attachments.
