Speaking of poets and birds, Robert Adamson has just published a book
in the US called The Goldfinches of Baghdad.
A very handsome book it is, with design by Gary Shead. Not all the
poems are about birds but a good many are. Worth a look. Published by
Flood Editions in Chicago, Devin Johnston's press, I do believe. Also,
has a very amusing short sonnet sequence.
Adamson is touring the US as we speak. Michael Farrell sent me the
itinerary just today.
While typing this, I heard the crows pass by. I think they're listening
in to us.
Cheers,
Jill.
