Hello Laura
You might try back issues of the journal 'Folk Life' (Vols. 38 and 39
esp.) and consider St Fagans, formerly the Museum of Welsh Life, now
called St. Fagans: National History Museum
(http://www.museumwales.ac.uk/en/home/).
You can find an article about St Fagans at:

Laura
There were some papers from rural history museums at the SHCG ASW in
2003 that were published in the Journal (Volume 27 I think) which may be
useful.
