If I may correct this entry.
50 feet x 7 feet 6 inches, rods 530m to No. 2 shaft, installed by Messrs
Lewis and partners in the 1820s.
John Taylor & Sons installed a 48 feet x 6 feet wheel in an adjacent
wheelpit in c1870 but this was not used for pumping.
