Hi Greg,
The dCache Pool at RAL is RAID0 striped across two arrays each 16 disks
configured with 15 active in a RAID 5 set and 1 hot spare. The server
and each array have dual redundant power supplies.
The dCache head at RAL is a standard GridPP Front End though I plan to
upgrade it to a mirrored system disk in the near future.
