I'm guilty of spamming magazines - at least the once. These days, i
try and read the magazine I'm applying to read.
I also feel guilty at not supporting a magazine beyond that of buying
that of the lrb. um. come to think of it someone gave me that
subscription :-(
will try harder in future. although to be fair, as yet, i'm not
expecting a place in the infrastructure. At some stage I marked myself
out of that particular game.
