Based in the Policy Ethics and Life Science Research Centre you will be responsible for researching the ethical issues associated with the nature and outcomes of the medical application of nanotechnologies including the risk perception of stakeholders. The project will involve literature searches and interviews with clinicians, scientists, and stakeholders from wider society across Europe. Candidates should have a good honours degree in Sociology, Philosophy, or a related discipline and an M.A. / MSc/ PhD in a relevant area preferably with social science/other relevant research experience.
