Can you help us make a difference to health? The East Midlands Public Health Observatory (EMPHO) and Bassetlaw PCT wish to appoint a Public Health Analyst following the promotion of the current postholder. Agenda for Change Band 6 £22,328 to £30,247 Full time 37.5 hours
Based 50% at PCT HQ Retford Hospital and 50% at EMPHO near Mansfield.
This is an excellent opportunity to join the dynamic public health teams of both EMPHO and Bassetlaw working in a joint role across both sites. This is a permanent post employed by Bassetlaw PCT jointly funded by EMPHO on an annual review basis.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who is able to embrace the exciting challenges of delivering both aspects of the role.
You will need to be educated to degree level and hold a post graduate qualification in public health, epidemiology or related subject or equivalent relevant experience. You need to be highly numerate with skills and experience of analysing and interpreting health, healthcare or demographic data. You need to be computer literate, have good communication skills and be able to work alone and as a member of a team. You need to be able to demonstrate an interest and enthusiasm for public health.
