1.1.2	Hawliadau 
Y dyddiad terfynol ar gyfer hawliadau grant (ffurflen hawlio + copiau o
anfonebau - anfoneb i CyMAL) yw 31Ionawr 2006.  Os na fyddwch yn medru
hawlio erbyn y dyddiad cau a wnewch chi os gwelwch yn dda gysylltu â Carol
Whittaker mor gynted â phosibl.  Gallwch golli eich grant os na fyddwch yn
hawlio ar amser.

Yn dilyn cyfres o adolygiadau a newidiadau i'r ddau grwp o achosion da, sef
Gwariant Elusennol ac Iechyd, Addysg a'r Amgylchedd, a arweiniodd at
sefydlu'r Gronfa Loteri Fawr, cyhoeddodd yr Adran dros Ddiwylliant, y
Cyfryngau a Chwaraeon y llynedd eu bwriad i adolygu gweddill yr achosion da
sy'n cael eu hariannu gan y Loteri Cenedlaethol.

Lansiwyd yr Adolygiad o Achosion Da y Loteri Ar ôl 2009 ar 25 Tachwedd 2005
ac mae'n ymdrin ag achosion da yn ymwneud â:

The National Launch date has been set - it's Thursday 27 April. The launch
(by invitation) will be at Apsley House, London courtesy English Heritage
Welcome Weekend - More directors and curators are joining up for the Welcome
Weekend
MGM's Focus on Art will take place on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 May and will
be linked to the VAGA Realise Your Right To Art initiative. Museums are
invited to work with art galleries and artists in collaboration where
possible to develop one or more visual arts programmes on both or either day
aimed at adults. 
Museum and gallery debates - We are planning three debates in London on
issues relating to our theme "Making Connections: past, present and
future...". This is the outline for each debate - for you to adapt and adopt
with local contributors:
Progress on the People's Museum - Reef Television is still looking for items
to include in the series, so if you haven't been approached, there's the
whole country yet to cover, so do call with your entry - 0207 836 8595.
MGM Wales - Welsh museums are getting ready for Museums and Galleries Month.
We are producing a Welsh version of the MGM logo which will be on the MGM
website in early January, followed by the templates for print. CyMAL has
just launched a grants programme for museums and galleries planning MGM
events. CyMAL is also planning a launch of MGM in North Wales early in May.

5.5	Clore Leadership Programme
is an initiative designed to help develop the skills and experience of
potential leaders in the cultural sector. We aim to include within the
programme the whole range of creative and cultural fields, including the
visual and performing arts, heritage, museums, libraries and archives, and
cultural administration and policy. Each fellow will have an individually
tailored programme, lasting at least a year, from September 2006.  The

6.2.1	Ymgynghoriad HLF: 'Our Heritage: Our Future: Your Say'
HLF is beginning to consult on its next Strategic Plan. At the same time,
the Government is asking for views on future shares of Lottery funding for
heritage. This area of our website sets out information that you might find

6.2.2	Welsh wonder
The timbers of the Newport Ship, one of the most important archaeological
discoveries ever made in Wales, will be studied by a team of experts to
uncover its origins and history thanks to a £799, 500 grant from the
Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF).

Following seven successful years of helping communities to discover and care

6.4	Program for the Preservation of Classical Music Historical
Recordings
The ARSC Program for the Preservation of Classical Music Historical
Recordings was founded in 2004 (to begin in 2006) by Al Schlachtmeyer and
the Board of Directors of ARSC to encourage and support the preservation of
historically significant sound recordings of Western Art Music by

8.1	The Jodi Awards 2006
Nominations are now invited for the Jodi Awards 2006 from museums, libraries
and archives in England and Wales.
The Jodi Awards give recognition to web sites which demonstrate practical
and imaginative ways of making online cultural and learning resources
accessible to disabled people. The Jodi Awards were launched in 2003,
European Year of Disabled People. They were first given in 2003 and 2005
under the name "Jodi Mattes Web Accessibility Awards".  From 2006, the Jodi
Awards will be given annually.
The deadline for nominations is Friday 24 February 2006 The Awards will be
announced at a high profile event on 5 April 2006 at the British Museum.

8.2	SPECTRUM Terminology is a new online service for terminology.
Created in response to the sector-wide requirement for greater availability
and co-ordination of standard terminologies. It also supports the
requirement of many SPECTRUM 'Units of Information' to "maintain a list of
standard terms".

The Technical Advisory Service for Images (TASI) offers a wide range of

A website collaboration between South East Wales Schools and Big Pit, the
National Coalmining Museum of Wales, has been awarded a prestigious

11.1	9th AIM Annual Conference - 4-6 May 2006
What does Renaissance do for us?
Hosted by ss Great Britain, Bristol
Sam Mullins, Director of London's Transport Museum, will give the keynote
address Renaissance in the Regions - is there an independent view?. There
will also be a study of MDO networks and of the delivery of capital projects
small and large, including the regeneration of ss Great Britain herself.
Friday afternoon will offer a series of highly practical workshops.
