The Society for Medieval Archaeology is holding its Spring conference at
Mullaghmore, Co. Sligo, Ireland from 18th to 20th April. Apart from
taking place in a most beautiful setting on the west coast of Ireland,
this conference provides a chance to hear about the latest work on rural
archaeology in Ireland and to visit some of the key sites.
The conference takes place in the week after Easter to allow those who
wish to extend their break and visit the area, which is truly beautiful.
